PSYCHOTHERAPY
Individual Therapy: Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or "talk therapy") can be beneficial for those struggling with intensely difficult issues or for those who wish to "fine-tune" their life experience.
Theoretical Orientations:
Psychodynamic
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Group Therapy: Group psychotherapy provides a place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns to better understand your situation and to learn from and with each other.
Couples Therapy: Navigating through challenges and dilemmas inherent in relationship cycles and life stages can pose many unique challenges. Whether in the family, community, work place or school setting, healthy relationships promote physical and emotional well being, develop empathy and understanding, and facilitate learning.
Cognitive Remediation - Cognitive remediation is a therapeutic approach targeting specific cognitive functions such as attention, organization, planning or memory that constitute an individual’s weaknesses or impairments. A course of cognitive remediation begins with neuropsychological testing, which determines the individual’s specific areas of weakness. Then a set of structured exercises is composed to develop the deficient areas, and additional methods are introduced to deal with compensating for these deficits.
